I just finished walking- 2 1/2 miles and it's just cool enough to be lovely but still work up a decent sweat. I love when we get that snap in the air at night but the days still warm up to be pleasant enough to still wear short sleeves with my jeans. And I don't have to put away the sandals and flip flops just yet.
And the bonus? I tend to write more- want to write more, which I can so get behind right now.
I found this really nice blog- Will Cook for Friends- it's got a lot of vegan and gluten free recipes and certainly eating healthier tips but the recipes intrigued me. I'm not vegan, I'm not going to pretend to try and be one. Having said that, there are some really yummy looking recipes including this Pumpkin Pie Protein Smoothie I could so get behind. I may have to try that this weekend.
BTW- husband is out of the house for the weekend. I can stretch out and relax. I've got a batch of jelly jars in the dishwasher as I have plans to make peach jam and triple berry jam. I've also got a new set of utility shelves I need to put together for my work room. I will be using it to store all my knitting and cross stitching supplies. But it will involve my moving a different bookcase I have all my Vietnam research materials organized in- and if it's too heavy, I'll have unload it, move it and put all the stuff back in. Understand, my collection of Vietnam books, maps and other things is pretty substantial. I really do NOT want to empty it out to move it.
