I didn't care for the Backup Plan- but not because of Alex. He was goofy and adorable and well, hot without the shirt. That goes without saying. But the movie and subject matter did nothing for me. I could see why it got panned. But I did completely enjoy Alex. Just felt he was wasted in that particular project.
I haven't really seen much of anything with Scott in it. No, I've never seen any of the Ocean's movies for two very big reasons- that being George Clooney and Brad Pitt. There I said it, so sue me. I'm not a fan of either guy, put them in the same movie and well, there you have it. Anyway, I tossed in Mercy, have read in some blogs that it was actually very good. And I did enjoy it. Incredibly sad movie when you realize what's happened but he really does shine in it. There are some stunning scenes that had me sitting up. Like in Five-O, I like watching the way he moves- sounds stupid but I do. So, if you haven't seen it, I recommend it. Make sure you check out the commentary after you've seen the movie as Scott does it.
I have a couple other movies of Scott's to check out later.
HCat watched Ep 18 of Five-O with me. Still my favorite, hands down.
Still no edits back on VN2. Nor a word from my editor. I'm leaving her be- she had a shit storm of stuff dumped on her unexpectedly and I don't need to be adding to it. I know she'll get the manuscript back to me. She said that I'm likely going to be her last one for a while as she takes a leave of absence. *sigh* I keep losing my good editor.
For those who know I walk in the summer and keep track with me- I started walking on May 1st and so far haven't broke the streak. I've walked every single day. I'm pretty much solid on three miles now. I'm doing a lousy job of writing my distance down, usually I'm good about it. So I'll settle for keeping track of how long I keep the streak going here and be happy.
Christ, I have to write a blog article for Lyrical, it's to be posted on Tuesday. I need to get my ass in gear and write that now.
